ACTIVE VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT

Active volunteer involvement accomplishes a dual role at Utah State Hospital.

Number 1 Icon

Acceptance

It helps our patients to feel accepted by the community and helps them to relate socially.

Number 2 Icon

Involvement

Community involvement is a teaching experience to help educate the community about mental illness and the programs offered at USH.

Volunteering is limited right now due to COVID-19. Please email Cami Roundy to be put on the waiting list if you are interested.

  • Variety of Areas

Volunteers help in a variety of areas. They are involved with occupational, recreational, and physical therapy. Many church and community groups sponsor patient activities.

  • Groups and Individuals

Volunteers are a valuable resource to the Hospital and their involvement is always encouraged and welcome. There are many opportunities for individuals, groups, students, Eagle Scouts, etc. to volunteer at the hospital especially during the summer months.
