ACTIVE VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT

Active volunteer involvement accomplishes a dual role at Utah State Hospital.

Number 1 Icon

Acceptance

It helps our patients to feel accepted by the community and helps them to relate socially.

Number 2 Icon

Involvement

Community involvement is a teaching experience to help educate the community about mental illness and the programs offered at USH.

Volunteer orientations are held at the beginning of each college semester. All volunteer positions are full at this time. The Utah State Hospital will be accepting new volunteers in January, 2023.
